International Students
All international students on non-immigrant visas living in the U.S. must enroll in the UT System approved comprehensive health insurance plan. The plan provides certain basic coverage features that meet standards required by the United States Department of State regulations. The Health Insurance Premium will be included on your Tuition/Fee statement. You may qualify for a waiver of the Health Insurance Premium if you meet all of the requirements on the Human Resources Student Health Insurance Plan.
If you have health insurance coverage through another plan that meets these requirements, you must apply for a waiver online at Academic Health Plans by census day.
