Admission Requirements
● Pre-Master of Accountancy (Pre-MACY) Requirements Statement of Purpose, not to exceed one page, which may include a description of the applicant's professional experience, educational background, career goals and/or socio-economic background.**
● Two letters of reference from professional and/or academic sources.
● GMAT score required for MAcc (not required for Certificate). A waiver of the GMAT requirement may be granted to applicants who show proof of one of the following:
- Hold a graduate degree from an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited university
- Graduated with an undergraduate GPA of 3.75 or higher on a 4 point scale overall.
Additional Requirements for International Applicants:
● TOEFL Minimum Score: 550 on UTEP’s institutional paper based exam.

Requirements:
- Pre-Master of Accountancy (Pre-MACY) Requirements
Students pursuing a BBA in accounting who have completed at least 90 semester hours of coursework towards an undergraduate degree and have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 may apply for early admission to the Graduate School. These students will be admitted to the MACC program conditional pending conferral of their undergraduate degree. Students conditionally admitted to the MACC program may take up to nine hours of MACC classes in their senior year to facilitate a five‐year completion time for both BBA and MACC degrees.
In addition, the GMAT requirement is waived for these students. However, students must meet all other requirements of the Graduate School to receive a MACC degree.

First time applicants to the Fast Track must submit a UTEP Graduate Application at Graduate programs

Submit a Fast Track Form
Submit a Fast Track Combined Bachelor’s/Masters Program Student Application Form to your application. Form must be signed by both your undergraduate and graduate advisor.
Requirements:
- At least 90 credit hours accumulated toward an undergraduate degree
- A cumulative GPA of at least 3.30
- Statement of Purpose, not to exceed one page, which may include a description of the applicant's professional experience, educational background, career goals and/or socio-economic background.
- Two letters of reference from professional and/or academic sources.
