FIRST® Family of Robotics Competitions
The intent of the UTEP Robotics Program is provide K-12 students with an engineering/computing experience through the FIRST® Family of Robotics Competitions then encourage them to pursue an education and careers in engineering/computing fields.
Moreover, we intend to inspire students to become leaders and innovators, and enhance their 21st century work-life skills. The UTEP College of Engineering and its partners believe in the FIRST® core values and philosophies of Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition®. Our program starting in 2010 with FIRST® LEGO League and since 2018 we have offered the complete family of competition or support to teams in the El Paso area.
