Online Team Registration
The UTEP Robotics Program is an Affiliate Partner with FIRST® nationally and partners with FIRST In Texas (FIT). To bring convenience to register/submit correct forms and pay associated registration fees with the local UTEP events, please follow the pre-boarding steps.
STEP 1: ALL TEAMS
This process will expedite the collection of necessary documents for all teams. More importantly, it will allow us to enter information into the official scoring system to begin the day on schedule. Pre-Boarding involves three steps.
STEP 1a: Complete UTEP Forms for all coaches and team members.
- For Coaches, Mentors and Volunteers: Adult Release and Indemnification Agreement and Photo Release
- For Student Participants:
STEP 1b: Email forms to Engrfrontdesk4@utep.edu. Remember the following when submitting.
- Create one single PDF Document putting coaches first then team members in alphabetical order using last name
- Your PDF file name should follow this format: ####_TeamName.pdf
- Email to Engrfrontdesk4@utep.edu

STEP 2: PAY REGISTRATION FEES
FLL Explore and FLL Challenge Teams:
Once your team pays the FIRST® national registration fee, request a quote for the local UTEP Championship registration fee. You will have the option to pay by credit card the day of the event. Prior payments can be made by purchase order (PO) or check. For PO's please notify engrfrontdesk4@utep.edu when and how it will be submitted.
Checks should be made payable to: UTEP College of Engineering, K-12 Program and can be mailed to:

FTC Teams:
Once your team registers nationally with FIRST® (have a team number) and with FIRST In Texas (FIT) – West Area/Region - you can make payment through this website: https://store.firstintexas.org/first-tech-challenge-registration/
Apply for Grants and read Important Things and GRANT PAYMENTS to make sure you are ready to go before the league starts.
