About FTC League Play in El Paso
League Play has FTC robotics teams (7th thru 12th graders) completing in smaller, more frequent meets to gain points that will advance them to the next level of FIRST tournament play. League meets are designated days that will provide each team with a minimum of 5 matches each.
- West & Panhandle FiT Season Fee: $150 per team include:

- Admission to three (3) El Paso meets at various partnering high schools around the city
- El Paso FTC League Tournament at UTEP
- Advancement through league tournament in West area/region
- Championship Event Sign-in: Before the Coopertition® and fun begin, coaches and students are asked to complete the appropriate forms listed in Online Team Registration and email to engrfrontdesk4@utep.edu a week prior to the event.
- League Play Volunteers from Each Team:

- Schools are needed to be the site host for one of three League meets
- Teams are asked to provide volunteers to set-up competition fields the day prior to the Championship event
- Teams members (minimum of 2) are needed to serve as safety for 1 hour the day of the Championship event
- Teams members (minimum of 3) are needed to tear-down the day of the Championship event
- Championship Event Drop-off and Parking

- Robot Drop-off: Teams with heavier robots, larger displays and/or equipment can drop-off on the west-side (Randolph Dr.) of Memorial Gym (see RA2 on map)

- Grants and Scholarships:
Advancing from El Paso
- Lubbock Regional Advancement:
- The number of teams advancing from the El Paso FTC League Championship is based on the percentage of teams compared to the total teams in the El Paso and Lubbock Leagues.
- After reaching the Lubbock Regional, only three (3) teams from the El Paso/Lubbock leagues will be allowed to advance to the super region. These will be the Inspire Winner, Winning Alliance Captain, and Inspire-2nd Place teams.
