Kayla Musa
2017 Graduate, Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies
Kayla Musa is a recent graduate and started her education at UTEP in 2014. She is a military spouse and online learning has allowed her to continue her education with UTEP regardless of her physical location.
Why she enrolled in the program:
I started my education at UTEP in 2014. I originally was pursuing a nursing degree when my husband who is in the military was stationed in North Carolina. I decided to continue my education online as a UTEP Connect student. I changed my major to multidisciplinary studies.
Her experience with online learning:
Being an online UTEP Connect student has awarded me the flexibility to work full time as I pursue my bachelor's degree. I love being an online student, because I can do school work at my convenience.
What she plans to do next:
I plan on taking the necessary course sequence to become a licensed Behavior Analyst Assistant. I am currently working in the Applied Behavior Analysis field as a Registered Behavior Technician. I am currently in the process of applying to graduate schools to purse a master's in psychology.
I am thankful to the UTEP Connect program for its experienced teachers and staff, cost effectiveness, and flexible programs for nontraditional students like me.
