Anne and Roland W. Claudius Memorial Scholarship Fund
Funds distributed from this fund provides scholarship support to internatiional undergraduate students who attended preparatory school in a country other than the US (except those from countries eligible for Good Neighbor or Benito Juarez scholarships, such as Canada, Mexico and Latin American countries) who have successfully completed 30 semester hours of study at UTEP. The funds shall be disbursed equally between three students.
Criteria:
- All majors
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior.

Frank & Polly Ann Morrow
THE NEXT APPLICATION CYCLE IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING THE SPRING 2021 SEMESTER. ELIGIBLE STUDENTS WILL BE ALERTED VIA EMAIL WHEN APPLICATIONS OPEN.
Funds distributed from this endowment shall be awarded to international graduate or undergraduate student who actively participate in a variety of UT El Paso activities; actively participate in community service activities; and students that demonstrate academic advancement.
This endowment is established in the hope that it will give students from countries other than the United States a heightened sense of purpose, an enhanced feeling of acceptance among the student community of The University of Texas at El Paso, and a continuing measure of recognition by the people of their host city El Paso, Texas, USA.
Criteria:
- Graduate must have minimum of 18 semester credit hours completed, 9 of which must be UTEP credit hours.
- Undergraduate must have minimum of 60 semester credit hours completed, 30 of which must be UTEP credit hours.
- Must be an F-1 international student at UTEP.
- Active participation in a variety of UTEP activities.
- Active participation in community service activities.
- Academic advancement.
- Must have not graduated in current program at the time of application.
- Not previously selected for the award.

- A statement of your educational and career objectives, membership in organizations, honors or awards you have received, volunteer work, contribution or service to the UTEP campus or to El Paso Community.

Good Neighbor Scholarship
APPLICATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN SPRING 2025!
The Good Neighbor Scholarship (GNS) Program is designed to encourage academically talented students from the countries of the Western (American) hemisphere (other than Cuba and the U.S.) to pursue higher education in the State of Texas, thus establishing a beneficial link between the State of Texas and the home country of the students.
This scholarship is available to current UTEP students. Prospective and future students are ineligible to apply.
Amount
The Good Neighbor Scholarship provides an exemption from the payment of tuition (not fees) for the 12-month period beginning with the fall semester following selection as a scholarship recipient. Students who are awarded the scholarship during the Spring semester will begin receiving the benefit in the Fall semester.
Eligibility
- Applicants must: have resided in the Western (American) Hemisphere for a period of at least five years;
- Applicants cannot be members of the Communist Party;
- Applicants cannot have applied for Permanent Resident status in the U.S., or have dual citizenship that includes the U.S.;
- Applicants must be enrolled in a UTEP program and maintaining satisfactory academic progress toward a UTEP degree at the time of application;
- Applicants must be a bona fide native-born citizen and resident of an eligible country; and
- Applicants must meet GPA requirements (Undergraduate students: 2.0; Graduate students: 3.0).

- Resumé/CV (contact the UTEP Career Center if you need assistance creating or updating your resume)
- An essay of 250 – 750 words describing your goals, your accomplishments, and any other key elements of your story that you think the committee should consider

Hargobind and Annabal Endowed Scholarship
Funds distributed from the endowment shall be awarded to undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours; who are, or students whose parents, have received all or part of their education in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, or Bangladesh.
Criteria:
- Students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at UTEP and have a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- Preference given to students in the College of Busines and College of Nursing.

Her Majesty the Royal Grandmother Kesang Choeden Wangchuck Excellence Endowment
Funds distributed from the endowment shall be used to fund annual competitive academic scholarships, participate in an eligible study abroad program in the Kingdom of Bhutan, support cultural programming that promotes Bhutanese culture, and to provide contingency funding and a "safety net" to scholarship recipients for emergencies.
Criteria:
- Annual Scholarship is reserved for Bhutanese Students with a 3.0 GPA; Study abroad scholarship is opened to all students.
- Students will be selected according to the process

South Asian Culture Endowed Scholarship
To provide annual scholarships for international undergraduate students who have attended school outside the United States, with a preference for students who have attended school in South Asian countries.
Shen-Lee Endowment Fund
Funds distributed from this endowment shall be used to support activities promoting understanding of East Asia and to provide competitive academic scholarships to both academically outstanding and needy full-time international graduate students pursuing degrees in mathematics or accounting.
Criteria:
- Graduate students in the fields of Mathematics and Accounting.
