Advisory Board
Comprised of outstanding leaders from industry, academia, and the public sector, the Engineering Advisory Board (EAB), counsels and advises the Dean of the College of Engineering. Board members provide valuable perspectives that add to the College's plans and strategies, program development and resource acquisition. They are active advocates for the College communicating goals, achievements, aspirations and opportunities to a range of external constituencies.
The EAB brings value to five strategic areas defined by the College:
- Academics
- Research
- Advocacy
- Financial Health
- Strategic Direction
Members meet twice a year, fall and spring, to provide a critical review of the College's efforts and performance.
As in any organization diversity is key to success; therefore, our members come from a wide range of industry sectors and represent different points of view and experiences. Nevertheless, members share a common commitment to changing the face of engineering and improving the quality of the College of Engineering education, research and service programs.
