Research, Innovation and Impact Newsletter

The Miguel A. Loya College of Engineering publishes two newsletters designed to keep our research community informed, connected, and inspired. These publications provide a platform to share knowledge, celebrate achievements, and foster collaboration across all engineering and computer science disciplines at UTEP.

The Funding Opportunities newsletter provides a comprehensive overview of resources available to faculty and research staff, as well as programs and awards that support student research. It includes information on upcoming deadlines, new initiatives, and institutional support designed to advance research, scholarship, and scholarly activities.

Research Highlights
The Research Highlights newsletter showcases Scopus-indexed publications and recent Research and Innovation grant awards by researchers in UTEP’s engineering community. Each publication includes a DOI link for direct access. This newsletter is intended to keep faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and students informed of ongoing research activity.

As an R1 research institution with an open-access mission and designation as a Hispanic-Serving Institution, UTEP is paving the way to broader access to research opportunities.
