Goldmine is a student's personal view of their records in the UTEP Information System (Banner). It contains current and historical academic information. It can also be used by faculty to manage classes, post grades, and view or print class rosters (rosters with student photos are available in my.utep.edu).
Go to my.utep.edu and click on the Goldmine link. Log in with your UTEP username and password.
• Register for classes, add/drop classes
• View/print class schedule
• Apply for and review Financial Aid info
• Log in to pay via Pete's Payment options
• View Holds
• Review degree plan (degree audit)
• Review academic history
• Download unofficial transcripts
• View/print 1098-T for income tax prep
• Modify address and phone number
Holds: To view your holds, click on Student Records then View Holds. For information about specific holds, contact the respective department (Advising, Financial, etc).
Change your address/phone number: Click on the Personal Information tab and choose Update Address(es) and Phone(s).
Transcripts: Click on Student Records, then click Academic Transcript. You will be able to view it online and may print an unofficial transcript. For information and costs on ordering official or, unofficial transcripts visit Transcript Information. To order or track the order of your transcripts visit studentclearinghouse.org. A UTEP account (username and password) is not required.
Though access to Pete's Payment Options is available in Goldmine, it is recommended that staff and faculty log in through my.utep.edu to process fees or fines. Goldmine access is only available for faculty and advisors. Please contact the Registrar, Nohemi Gallarzo at ngallarzo@utep.edu or 915 747-7324, for access. Once access is granted, go to my.utep.edu and click on the Goldmine link. Log in with your UTEP username and password.

For Banner access, training is required. To request access to the training modules, or for any issues or questions with the training, please contact Nohemi Gallarzo at ngallarzo@utep.edu or 915 747-7324.
After training is complete, please submit a Banner Access Request. Click here to view the status of your request.
