NVivo is intended to help users organize and analyze non-numerical or unstructured data. It allows users to classify, sort and arrange information; examine relationships in the data; and combine analysis with linking, shaping, searching and modeling. NVivo accommodates a wide range of research methods, including network and organizational analysis, action or evidence-based research, discourse analysis, grounded theory, conversation analysis, ethnography, literature reviews, phenomenology, mixed methods research and the Framework methodology.
UTEP Owned Computers (Faculty & Staff only):
NVivo licenses are available for UTEP-owned computers (Faculty and Staff primary office computers only, limited to one license per user). Licenses are not available for installation on shared or research lab computers. If NVivo is required for a shared or research lab environment, a license must be purchased directly from the Lumivero site.

NVivo for personal devices (Faculty and Staff):
The Academic license option can be purchased directly from the Lumivero site.
The cost for an Academic license is $1,019.00 USD.
NVivo for personal devices (Students):
The Academic license option can be purchased directly from the Lumivero site.
The cost for a subscription student license is $130.00 USD per year.
