Hunt Business Students Attend IIA Global Student Conference

The Big Picture: Students from UTEP's Internal Audit Student Association (IASA) recently represented the Woody L. Hunt College of Business at the 2025 IIA Global Student Conference.  

The conference brought together aspiring auditors from across the globe to the Disney Yacht & Beach Club Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.  
 
The experience provided hands-on opportunities for professional development, cultural exchange, and career exploration in the evolving field of internal auditing. 

Why It Matters: As internal auditing continues to adapt to changing global standards and technology, students are challenged to develop both technical expertise and a global mindset. Attending the conference gave UTEP students direct access to industry professionals, real-world challenges, and leadership-building experiences.
