Creating a Group
Groups can be created for assignments, tests, discussions, and other graded activities. To create a group, select the Groups tab from within your course, where you will see a plus button and “New Group Set”. On clicking this, you can set up groups and add students to their respective groups.

Creating Self-enroll Groups
Self-enroll groups can also be created by making the groups visible, then selecting Self-enrollment in the group student’s menu. Within this menu, you can assign an enrollment begin and end date. You can also change or remove the maximum number of students allowed in one group.
