Summer Financial Aid
Students who enroll in summer courses may be eligible to receive certain types of financial aid:
- Undergraduate students may be eligible for a Pell Grant, based on the number of credits they enroll in.
- Undergraduate and graduate students who are eligible for federal student loans but did not borrow their entire eligibility during the fall and spring, may be able to borrow the leftover amount in the summer, as long as they enroll at least half-time.
- Students may also decide to borrow a PLUS or Graduate PLUS loan. These loans require a credit check.
- Depending on their program and college, students may be able to receive a departmental award.
PAYDIRT PROMISE FOR SUMMER COURSES
If you are eligible for the Paydirt Promise, your summer tuition may be covered while funds are available. Make sure you have completed any pending requirements and you register for summer classes as early as possible.
