Real Estate Career Fair Connects Students to Opportunity
by Hunt Business Staff
The Woody L. Hunt College of Business and the CCIM Greater El Paso Chapter last week hosted the Spring 2024 Real Estate Career Fair.
Hunt College of Business undergraduate student Karime Baeza speaks with representatives from Franklin Mountain Investments during the Spring 2024 Real Estate Career Fair.
Held at WestStar Tower in Downtown El Paso, the fair connected students studying real estate at Hunt College, and students in the Real Estate Club, with several key industry partners seeking to fill internship and employment positions.
“The real estate fair is a powerful event for students to connect with employers, often finding internships or jobs with firms that are aligned directly within their areas of study,” said Zifeng Feng, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Finance. “Students who participated in the fair last semester, were back this time on the employer-side of the table. To me, that closes the loop and shows the impact of this event.”
For attendees, the fair is a pivotal moment in the journey toward a career in real estate.
WestStar Bank, a longtime partner for UTEP and Hunt College, provided a welcoming space for student engagement and networking in its recently constructed WestStar Tower.
