Accounting Society taps into LinkedIn know‑how

Why it matters: 
Professional polish pays off — and the Accounting Society made sure its members got a head start. 

What happened: 
The Hunt Business student org hosted a LinkedIn workshop in Spring 2025, featuring cross-club support from CEO and AMA. 

• Diego Triana (CEO) and Robert Ornelas (AMA) shared practical strategies for using LinkedIn to land internships, jobs, and networking opportunities. 

• Members received free professional headshots on-site. 

• Officers guided attendees through profile setup in real time. 

Why LinkedIn matters: 
A strong LinkedIn profile is a networking engine. Recruiters, employers, and alumni use it to scout talent. Students with complete profiles, quality headlines, and professional photos dramatically increase their visibility and outreach potential.
