Hunt Business to Launch Center for Family and Small Business
What’s Happening:
The UTEP Woody L. Hunt College of Business will launch the Center for Family and Small Business on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the El Paso Natural Gas Conference Center.
The Center’s inaugural event features Paul Dipp — co-founding partner of Plaza Properties and president of Economy Wholesale Grocers — presenting Challenges and Opportunities Facing Family and Small Businesses in the Paso del Norte Region. Dipp is also a 2025 Distinguished Alumnus.
Who Should Attend:
Free and open to all UTEP students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Why It Matters:
Family and small businesses drive the Paso del Norte economy. The Center will spotlight their challenges, growth opportunities, and long-term impact on community prosperity.
