Finishing Touches: Caps, Creativity, and Countdown to Commencement
The Big Picture
Laughter and creativity filled the Business Building as graduating students gathered for the Fall 2025 Graduation Cap Decorating Party, hosted by the Woody L. Hunt College of Business. Tables were lined with glitter, stickers, paint, and inspiring quotes as seniors transformed their graduation caps into one-of-a-kind works of art to celebrate their milestone achievement.
Why It Matters
Graduation marks not just the end of a journey, but the start of a new chapter — and this event gave students the chance to reflect, celebrate, and express their Miner pride in a fun, creative way. The decorating party brought together graduates from all majors, celebrating their hard work, friendships, and the memories made throughout their time at UTEP.
What Happened
Students dropped by throughout the afternoon to design and decorate their caps using free supplies provided by the College of Business, including glitter, markers, stencils, and more. Music, snacks, and a shared sense of excitement filled the room as everyone prepared to walk the stage in style. The event captured the joy, pride, and creativity that define the Class of Fall 2025.
