FinTech is a hot new emerging industry that combines finance and technology. This touches all aspects of both industries from user experience to innovation of new technological advancements of products and services. This is a new disruptor in the market that is changing both Insurance and Financial industries and is growing at a rapid pace.
The College of Business Administration, in collaboration with local thought-leaders, will provide exposure to UTEP students, area high schools and local businesses to the FinTech and InsurTech revolution. The end goal is to increase diversity and inclusion in the FinTech and Insurance industries nationally. We will do so with a series of sessions aimed to foster creative solutions to industry problems and develop our regional future leader!
