Before Your Internship
The University Career Center may be able to add an internship notation to your transcript if you report your experience via Handshake
In order to receive the internship notation on your transcript, you must submit a PDF file with your official internship offer letter or acceptance email.
As you prepare to start your internship journey, take time to ensure you have all the necessary tools and resources in place before your departure.
Remember to notify the Financial Aid Office and your academic advisor about your internship, especially if you intend to travel for your internship and not enroll in classes.
International students DO NOT FORGET to connect with UTEP's Office of International Programs for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) approval.
