College Panhellenic Council
College Panhellenic Council (CPC) is the governing body of the National Panhellenic Conference sororities at UTEP. UTEP has a total of 2 Panhellenic chapters out of the 26 total National Panhellenic Sororities. It is the largest governing organization advancing the sorority experience nationwide. Founded in 1902, NPC serves as the national voice on contemporary issues of sorority life focusing on philanthropy, scholarship, and building women during their college experience. Panhellenic offers several different ways to join a sorority here at UTEP.
Fall Formal Recruitment
Potential members can opt to go through the formal recruitment process to join one of the two Panhellenic sororities we have on campus. Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity, and Zeta Tau Alpha Women’s Fraternity. Formal Recruitment is a four-day process and more information can be found HERE.
Spring Recruitment - Informal and Continuous
During the Spring semester, Panhellenic sororities can host informal recruitment events on their own schdeule if they are eligible to recruit in the Spring semester. Eligibility to recruit would be if these organizations have space available at the time. For more information on Spring Recruitment contact individual chapters.
