Welcome to the Travel Office
Faculty, Staff and Student Travel Update - 9/29/2021
Effective immediately, University sponsored domestic travel for faculty, staff, or students will no longer require approval from the respective Vice President. Student domestic and international travel requires adherence to student travel policies and procedure.
International travel for business, study, or research continues to be restricted in accordance with CDC guidance and the Governor's directive pertaining to non-essential travel.
All international exceptions for faculty, staff or students conducting research-related, study or mission-critical functions will require approval by the International Oversight Committee including travel to Juarez, Mexico, regardless of State Department or CDC Advisory level.
- Faculty and staff wishing to plan for future international travel must seek approval by their respective Vice President prior to making any plans and/or payments for related travel (airfare, hotel, conference fees, etc.).
- Students desiring to study abroad should work closely with the Office of Study Abroad prior to making any plans and/or payments for related travel (airfare, hotel, conference fees, etc.).
- All required approvals should be attached to the travel authorization and reimbursement request.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these uncertain times. We will continue to monitor developments and communicate guidance on any changes to travel guidelines.
Staff and faculty are encouraged to submit student travel documentation 10 days before departure.
