Temporary ADA Accommodations

Temporary ADA accommodations are reasonable supports provided to students with short-term disabilities or medical conditions that significantly impact daily functioning. In a college setting, this may include situations such as recovery from an injury, recent surgery, or pregnancy-related conditions.

All accommodations are intended to provide equitable access to academic programs and services for all students. Each accommodation is implemented in a manner that upholds the essential requirements of the course while ensuring that no undue burden is placed on the institution.
