Report an Accessibility Issue

At UTEP, we strive to ensure all students, faculty, and staff have equal access to academic, campus, and extracurricular experiences. If you encounter an accessibility issue on campus or with University resources, we encourage you to report it so we can address it promptly and effectively.

How to Report an Accessibility Issue

If you encounter a barrier to access or need assistance with any accessibility-related concerns, follow the steps below to submit your issue:

  1. Contact CASS Directly
    If the issue pertains to accommodations, services, or accessibility in classrooms, housing, or coursework, please reach out to the Center for Accommodations and Support Services (CASS). You can contact us by:

  2. Report the Issue to the Relevant Department
    Some accessibility issues may be more specific to a particular campus area or service. In these cases, please reach out to the relevant department or office. Some common examples include:

Common Accessibility Issues to Report

  • Physical Barriers: Inaccessible entrances, hallways, elevators, ramps, or restrooms
  • Classroom Accessibility: Seating arrangements, adaptive equipment, or course material formatting issues
  • Other Campus Facilities: Inaccessible pathways, signage, or event spaces

Reporting accessibility issues is an important step in fostering an inclusive environment at UTEP. Your feedback helps us:
